Today, despite a jump in bad loans , South India Bank reported a 45.7 percent rise in the net profit at Rs. 95 crores for the June quarter of 2016-17.The bank's net profit figure stood at Rs. 65.2 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.Bank's total income also increased to Rs. 1,620.7 crore from Rs. 1,480.5 crore during April-June quarter in the same period of last fiscal year.
