Amid mixed global cues, the Indian benchmark Indices continued their upward journey for the fifth consecutive session and closed higher on Monday with Nifty and Sensex gaining 82 and 282 points respectively. Among sectors, Auto, Bank, FMCG, Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Power were up 0.3%-1%. On the liquidity front, FIIs net sold Rs 754 crore while DIIs net bought Rs 452 crore worth of equities in the cash market.
