On 20th July 2016, Lakshmi Vilas Bank recorded a rise of over 50 per cent in net profit of the Company at Rs 60.68 crore for the quarter ended June. The Chennai-based private sector lender, Lakshmi Vilas bank reported its standalone net profit of Rs. 606.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017, registering growth of 50.75 per cent Y-o-Y and 23.67 per cent Q-o-Q.
