Reliance Power share price closed 2% higher to Rs.52.45 as The Supreme Court has permitted the company to recover Rs.1,050 crore from buyers. The power distribution companies have been seeking the stay on the payment of Rs. 1,050 Crores dues to Reliance Power. They have been buying electricity from Reliance power's Sasan ultra mega power project (UMPP). The company stated that Supreme Court did not grant the stay on an order of APTEL, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, dated March 31, 2016, as requested by the procurers
