AI push: RIL incorporates Reliance Intelligence as wholly-owned subsidiary

Reliance Industries on Wednesday said Reliance Intelligence has been incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The certificate of incorporation was received from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on Tuesday, RIL said in a BSE filing. "Reliance Intelligence Limited has been incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company on September 9, 2025," India's largest conglomerate said in the filing. The AI push was announced by RIL at its AGM last month, where Chairman Mukesh Ambani spoke about the formation of the new subsidiary, which will house large-scale AI infrastructure, as the company also unveiled new partnerships with global tech titans Meta and Google. BPCL's 1 trn refinery project in Andhra gets EAC nod to prepare ToR

A committee under the Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change has accorded permission to BPCL to prepare terms of reference (ToR) for its proposed 9 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) Greenfield Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Andhra Pradesh. According to the minutes of the meeting of the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) under the ministry held on August 29, the project cost would be Rs 1.03 lakh crore with a completion schedule of 42 months. Total Employment generated will be 3,400 for the Construction Phase (out of which 400 permanent and 3,000 temporary) and 3,750 Operational Phase (out of which 1250 permanent & 2500 temporary), it said. VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture of Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has signed an initial pact with Jio-bp pulse to expand and streamline charging access for its electric commercial vehicle customers. Through this collaboration, all Eicher Trucks and buses' EV customers will gain seamless access to Jio-bp's network of over 6,000 charging points, India's largest DC fast-charging footprint, across urban centres, highways, and purpose-built EV hubs capable of accommodating all types of commercial vehicles, a statement said.
