Duncan Engineering Ltd. - Quarterly/Annual Result Disclosures and Notes dated 31 Mar 2019

1. The Company's business activity falls within a single primary business segment viz. General Engineering Products.

2.The above results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of DIrectors at their respective meetings held on 6th May , 2019.

3.The figures for the quarter ended 31st March 2019 and 31st March 2018 are the balancing figure between the audited figures of the full financial year and the published year to date figures upto the 3rd quarter of the current financial year which were subject to Limited Review .

4.Consequent to the introduction of GST Act w.e.f July 1, 2017 Central Excise and VAT etc. have been subsumed into GST. In accordance with Indian AS 115 Revenue from Contract with Customers and Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013, Unlike excise duties levies like GST VAT etc are not part of Revenue. Accodingly the Revenue figures for the period and year ended March 31, 2018 which are inclusive of Excise duty uypto 30th June 2017 are not comparable to those for the other periods which are exclusive of GST.



5. effective April 1, 2018 the Company adopted the IND AS115 - Revenue from contract with customers - using the modified method of transition, whereby the comparitives are not to be retrospectively adjusted.

6. Previous periods figures have been regrouped wherever necessary.
