The Board at its meeting held on 15th May, 2025, has recommended the re-appointment of Mr. Desh Deepak Verma (DIN:09393549) as an Independent Director of the Company for a second term of 5 consecutive years with effect from 21st July, 2025, to the Members of the Company. Mr. Desh Deepak Verma, aged about 71 years, is a post graduate in Physics from Allahabad University and an MBA from Australia in International Business, is a retired 1978 batch IAS Officer. He retired from the post of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi in June, 2013. Post retirement, he was appointed as the Chairman of U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission. He continued in this post for 4 years and subsequently served as the Secretary General, Rajya Sabha from September, 2017 to August, 2021. Mr. Verma is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI Order or any such authority.
