High-speed electric two-wheeler registrations in India rose 17% YoY in July to 54,232 units, but were still short of the monthly sales average for the financial year. Ola Electric led the market with a 35.5% share, followed by TVS Motor Co. with a 19% share. In the passenger vehicle sector, factory-gate dispatches rose 3% YoY in July, with Maruti Suzuki seeing 6.5% growth in sales. Mahindra & Mahindra's UV sales rose 30%, while Tata Motors' EV sales grew 52.9% YoY. Two-wheeler sales were muted, with Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Auto reporting sharp dips in sales.
