Private capital expenditure and easing supply-side constraints have boosted the order books of Indian capital goods players, including Larsen and Toubro, KEC International, Siemens, and ABB. This has driven the BSE Capital Goods Index to a 52-week high of 35,948.78. Additionally, strong order flows and healthy execution have improved revenue and earnings prospects for the companies in Q4 FY23 and for the full year. Domestic tendering activity is expected to remain healthy for defense, transmission and distribution, water, railways, and metro, among others.
