Datta Power inks pact with SECI to supply power from 50-MW wind project

Datta Power Infra on Friday said one of its group firms inked a power purchase agreement with state-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply electricity from its 50-MW wind energy project. This project is part of SECI's Tranche-XVII initiative for setting up 500 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects across India, Datta Power Infra said in a statement. One of the group companies of Datta Power Infra Private Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI for its 50-MW wind power project. This PPA reinforces the group's commitment to delivering clean and sustainable energy solutions at scale, the statement said. MoUs worth Rs 10,785 cr signed on Day 2 of business summit in Assam

Investment proposals amounting to Rs 10,785 crore have been signed so far with companies across various sectors on the concluding day of the two-day Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 here on Wednesday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said. The state government inked a Rs 3,000 crore MoU with Virinchi Limited to set up a 200 MW data centre, along with another MoU worth Rs 200 crore with Virinchi Healthcare Private Limited to set up a 500-bed super specialty hospital. A Rs 3,200 crore pact was signed with Star Cements Ltd to establish a cement clinker and grinding plant through their subsidiary Star Cement North East Ltd. The state government also signed a Rs 1,500 crore agreement with Matheson Hydrogen Pvt Ltd to set up a 95 KTPA Hydrogen and Steam Generation Plant. Adani Green Energy arm bags 1250 MW pumped hydro storage project from UPPCL

Adani Green Energy on Tuesday said its arm Adani Saur Urja has bagged an order from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) for procurement of 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects. Adani Saur Urja, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from UPPCL in this regard. The capacity is secured through the e-Reverse Auction conducted by UPPCL, a regulatory filing said. According to the statement, the Annual Fixed Cost payable under the LOA stood at Rs 76,53,226 per MW per annum (taxes extra) for the entire period of 40 years from the commercial operation date.
