Stocks with FnO contracts that have crossed 80% of the market-wide position limit in open interst. Stocks with FnO contracts that have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit in open interest are placed under ban period by the exchanges. When FnO stocks are under trade ban, no fresh positions are allowed for any of its FnO contracts. Only exiting the existing positions is allowed during this period. The ban is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.
