Claroid manufactures multiple pharmaceutical dosage forms, including tablets, hard gelatin capsules and ointments, supported by a diversified product portfolio. Its offerings include pain management, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, anti-malarial, dermatological and approved narcotic products
Export-oriented business model
The company has established a growing export presence across international markets, with Nigeria as its largest export destination. Export revenue increased from Rs 25.84 crore in FY22 to Rs 64.72 crore in FY25, while its presence expanded to Tanzania, Kenya, Myanmar, Zanzibar and Botswana, strengthening its reach across African pharmaceutical markets
Integrated manufacturing infrastructure
The company operates a modern pharmaceutical manufacturing facility spanning approximately 12,332 square metres, with dedicated production lines for tablets, capsules and ointments. The facility is supported by advanced HVAC systems and 51 Air Handling Units (AHUs) designed to meet international pharmaceutical standards

The company has previously experienced delays in obtaining certain environmental approvals and has operated its manufacturing facility above the capacity permitted under the CTE, with the requisite application filed subsequently. Non-compliance with environmental laws or approval conditions, or delays in obtaining or renewing approvals, may result in penalties, regulatory action, operational restrictions or suspension and adversely affect its business and financial performance
Product quality risk
The company’s pharmaceutical products and manufacturing processes are subject to stringent quality standards, and any manufacturing defects, contamination or deviations may result in product rejection, recalls, order cancellations, regulatory action or product liability claims. Such quality issues could lead to additional costs, customer loss, litigation and reputational damage, adversely affecting the company’s business and financial performance
Customer pricing pressure
The company may face pricing pressure from customers and competition, which could lead to price erosion, lower revenue growth and reduced margins.
