Anchor Offshore Services Strengths
Integrated engineering capabilities
The company operates as an integrated turnkey engineering project vendor, providing multidisciplinary services across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, piping and structural works for offshore and onshore oil & gas, defence and power projects. Its capabilities across design, procurement, installation, commissioning and testing, supported by long-standing OEM relationships, enable recurring project opportunities and cross-selling of equipment, spares and support services
Diversified order book
The company maintains a diversified order book across oil & gas, defence and power sectors, serving PSUs, government establishments and private customers, which provides visibility of future revenues. Its range of turnkey projects, equipment and spare parts supply, installation, overhauling and specialised manpower services supports multiple revenue streams and reduces dependence on any single sector or business activity
In-house fabrication & inventory
The company operates an in-house fabrication workshop with 10 skilled fabricators, engineers and technicians as of June 30, 2026, enabling light fabrication, modification, repair and pre-installation activities without relying on third-party vendors. The workshop also supports inventory of critical lights, spare parts, cables and consumables, helping reduce turnaround time and costs while ensuring timely availability for offshore support operations
Anchor Offshore Services Risks
Competitive bidding risks
A significant portion of the company’s business is secured through competitive bidding and tender processes, particularly from government undertakings, making it dependent on successfully qualifying for and winning new contracts. As projects are generally awarded independently and completion of existing projects does not guarantee future orders, failure to secure new contracts could adversely affect its business, financial condition and results of operations
Project execution risks
The company’s turnkey engineering and offshore projects are subject to contractual timelines, technical specifications and milestone-based schedules, and delays caused by vendors, equipment shortages, weather, offshore conditions, approvals or customers could result in liquidated damages or deductions from payments. Failure to meet contractual requirements or adverse developments could also lead to bank guarantee invocation, contract termination, loss of future business and higher liquidity and working capital requirements, adversely affecting its business and financial performance
Operational risks
The company’s multidisciplinary engineering operations involve hazardous work sites, including offshore platforms, marine vessels, warships and power sector facilities, exposing it to risks such as explosions, fires, equipment failure, structural collapse, marine accidents, adverse weather, oil spills and gas leaks. Such incidents could cause injuries, fatalities, environmental damage, operational disruptions, regulatory or legal liabilities, compensation claims and reputational harm, while inadequate insurance coverage could further affect its business and financial performance
