UKB electronis Strengths
De-risked business model
The company offers a diversified product portfolio catering to multiple end-user industries in India and abroad. This approach reduces dependence on any single sector or customer, ensuring steady revenues and lowering overall business risk
Global presence
The company has strong export capabilities with 170 country-specific certifications and accreditations. Between April 2022 and March 2025, it exported products to over 17 countries, including the USA, Mexico, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and is recognised as a trusted global supplier
Backward integration
The company offers end-to-end solutions across the entire product lifecycle, from design to manufacturing and quality testing, ensuring products meet customer specifications. With backward-integrated operations and an in-house tool room, it drives cost efficiency, reduces supplier dependency, and ensures precision, consistency, and strong customer retention
UKB electronis Risks
Revenue concentration
A major share of the company’s revenue comes from electronic distribution systems and appliance cord assemblies. Any decline in demand for these products could impact its business, financial condition, and results of operations, despite its wider portfolio of electronic and electrical products like remote controls, PCBAs, specialty wires, and cables
Capital intensive
The company has high working capital requirements, and any shortfall in cash flows or inability to secure suitable financing could adversely impact its business, financial condition, and results of operations. Significant working capital is needed to mobilise resources such as raw materials, labour, and other expenses before receiving customer payments
Expansion risks
The company plans to expand its portfolio with new product lines such as LED TV remotes, PCB power controllers, RCDs, and power adaptors to strengthen its integrated offerings. However, the success of this expansion is uncertain and may expose the business to additional risks, potentially affecting operations and financial performance
